Jazz – Night after night, Jack Boniface puts his heart and soul into his music. People of the French Quarter come out to see and watch him play. But after someone attacks him and leaves him for dead, Jack discovers a strange compulsion to put on a mask and take the streets back, as Shadowman. Seduced by a Spider Alien, Jack Boniface finds himself paralysed, and soon to be devoured. Saved by unknown forces, he is overcome with the urge to hunt down evil. Wearing a carnival mask, he attacks a vicious serial-killer. The murderer escapes, but now a force for good walks the streets of New Orleans.
