Gayle finally gets Solar to cast off Master Darque’s psionic influence, but the strain is so great that Solar actually splits in two, releasing his aggressive side … Solar, the Destroyer. The Destroyer departs for space, seeking to wipe out the Spider Alien Homeworld.
